Smart City is looking for our next great human. People are moving to Fort Worth every day, and apartment hunting is a nightmare—47 open tabs, unanswered phone calls, and "special move-in pricing" on an apartment's website with zero additional context. We remove the complexity and mystery of the apartment hunting process for our clients, and we need more humans to help us do it. How it works: Our marketing and CX teams bring in the leads (check us out @smartcityfortworth on Instagram and TikTok ). You chat with renters, learn what they actually want, tour apartments all over Fort Worth with them, and lease them at their next place. Client pays rent -> the apartment complex pays you -> our service remains free to the client. Win/Win/Win. What you'll actually do: Manage the client relationship from "help, I need an apartment" to lease signed Chat with clients via text, phone, and email (you're their go-to person) Build hyper-personalized apartment lists based on what they actually care about Tour properties, work with leasing agent partners, get people into places they love People who succeed in this role are: Empathetic, social, a little bit of a hype person Self-driven and goal-oriented - you like winning Can laugh at yourself when things go sideways (they will, occasionally) Organized in your own way, a follow-up whiz, persistent (in an endearing way) Compensation: This role is commission-based. Full-time agents averaging 10-14 leased clients/month land between $60K-$80K+ per year. Top performers clear $100K+. Why Smart City: We generate the leads. No cold calling, ever. People come to us. A launchpad into residential real estate, if that's a future goal, this is where you start. Flexibility, with an asterisk. Your schedule follows your clients. Some evenings, some weekend tours, but you own your time off as long as clients get 5-star service. Get paid faster. We advance 30% of the invoice at move-in confirmation, so you're paid 60-90 days sooner than most brokerages. Tenure pays. Your commission percentage grows the longer you're here, up to 90%. We promote from within. 90% of our exec leadership team started as agents.
