Rocky Mountain Protective Services (RMPS) is immediately hiring Armed Security Officers in Denver, Colorado.
We are seeking reliable, professional, and responsible Armed Security Officers to join our team for a full-time position of approximately 40 hours per week .
The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, monitoring assigned areas, conducting patrols, controlling access, responding to incidents, and completing accurate security reports.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe and secure environment at the assigned location.
Monitor assigned areas and identify security or safety concerns.
Conduct regular security patrols and inspections.
Control access to designated areas as required.
Observe and report suspicious or unusual activity.
Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.
Prepare accurate and timely incident and activity reports.
Follow company policies, post orders, and security procedures.
Maintain a professional and courteous presence at all times.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, visitors, and clients.
Perform other security-related duties as assigned.
Valid Denver Security Guard Card with Armed Endorsement required.
Previous security experience preferred.
Strong communication and observation skills.
Professional appearance and conduct.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the assigned shift.
Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
Must be able to pass required background and employment screening.
