The Director of Golf reports directly to the Assistant General Manager and/or the General Manager. Experience Required Qualifications Must have minimum 3 to 5 Years Head Golf Professional experience College Degree Preferred Must have experience in golf operations management and demonstrated ability to run a professional, service driven, high quality golf operation Must excel in Retail Sales and Merchandising Must have experience and success in Budgeting and Expense Management Must have experience in conducting and managing golf outings and events PGA Member preferred Skills Must excel in customer service and guest skills Must be highly organized and detail oriented Must have solid supervisory and leadership skills Must be proficient in hiring, training, and developing a motivated golf operations team Must be a strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills Must have ability to exercise good independent judgement in accessing situations and making decisions Must have strong computer skills Essential Responsibilities Plans, promotes, manages, and directs all golf activities daily Oversees the ordering and inventory of merchandise in the pro shop and outside service equipment and supplies Maintains a well-stocked, organized, and attractive appearance in the golf shop Hires, trains, mentors, and supervises golf shop and outside services staff Holds regular staff meetings with inside and outside personnel to ensure facility goals, objectives and standards are being met daily Creates annual budget plan for the golf operations department Performs other duties not listed here as directed by the Assistant General Manager and/or General Manager Benefits Free Rent - Manager Housing 50% Electric Bill Life Insurance Health Care - Medical, Dental and Vision Reimbursement for Internet up to $80/month One meal (lunch) per weekday at the Employee Breakaway - 11am-1:00pm Discount on Meals Uniforms Complimentary Use of Golf Facilities for you and your immediate family Discounted Activities on Property (Shooting and Equestrian) Discount on Resort Room Rates Employee Swimming Pool Employee Laundry Resort will reimburse PGA Dues #J-18808-Ljbffr
