Maintain daily counselor activity data via smartphone or web application, ensuring accurate reporting and confidentiality. Work closely with installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to deliver services within scope and meet installation needs. Serve as the on‑call or surge counselor to cover assignments for absent counselors or support surge demand. Collaborate with POC to provide Adult and CYB services, establish working relationships with community resources, and provide appropriate linkages. Communicate with Regional Supervisors, participate in individual and group supervision, and share information on trends and issues. Respond to critical incidents or special requests from POC as directed. Qualifications Master’s Degree in a mental‑health related field or social work from an accredited graduate program. Current independent licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Therapist, or Social Worker that meets state or customer‑specific requirements. U.S. citizenship and fluency in English. Advanced knowledge of brief therapy and solution‑focused counseling methods. Willingness to accept assignments on short notice, including weekends, and to work full‑time, varied‑length assignments ranging from a weekend to two weeks. Ability to quickly engage and communicate with military members, spouses, or children and respond promptly to emergent situations on a military installation or in a school setting. Physical ability to traverse short and/or long distances within a base, maneuver through rugged or uneven terrain, and work in outdoor weather conditions. For CYB positions, meet Magellan MFLC CYB criteria for experience with children and youth and a specialty in child and adolescent development/psychology. Prior military service, military family member, or strong familiarity with military culture is desirable.
