About This Role We're looking for an SEO Manager to take ownership of one of the most important parts of our digital growth: being found. At Amelia HQ, SEO goes way beyond rankings and traffic. We’re building visibility across Google, Bing, and the rapidly shifting world of AI search. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to own our search strategy, not just run through a checklist of SEO tasks. You’ll set the strategy, use modern AI tools to streamline content and research, and work alongside our Web, Data, Brand, Creative, Paid Search, Email, and Social Media teams to drive real growth. You don’t need to know everything about where search is going. Nobody does. But you should be curious, analytical, willing to experiment, and excited to figure it out with us. You’ll have the autonomy to test new ideas, shape our search footprint, and see the direct impact of your work across our practices. What’s Our Team Like? This role is based out of our Raleigh, NC, headquarters on an office-first hybrid schedule, where we collaborate, bounce ideas off each other, and celebrate wins together. What You'll Be Doing Build and run our complete search strategy across Google, Bing, Google AI Overviews, and AI engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity using modern SEO, AEO, and GEO tactics. Partner with our Web team to keep site architecture, structured data, indexing, and Core Web Vitals in peak technical shape. Own local search for our growing practice network, including Google Business Profiles, local rankings, reviews, and citations. Strengthen brand and physician entity authority across search engines, Knowledge Graphs, and medical directories. Execute targeted off-page strategies, including high-quality backlink acquisition, digital PR, and brand mentions across our web footprint. Build domain trust and topical authority across our platforms to keep organic rankings climbing. Lead organic content execution by using AI workflows (like Claude) to research and draft 2 to 4 high-impact blog articles a month that meet medical E-E-A-T and brand standards. Partner with our Data team to build clear dashboards and share regular performance updates, using Search Console, GA4, Semrush, and other tools to show how organic search turns into booked consultations and real ROI. Stay ahead of search algorithm updates, industry shifts, and AI search trends so we’re leading the curve rather than reacting to it. What You Bring to the Table 5+ years running hands-on SEO across technical, on-page, local, and off-page search. Daily experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, and Screaming Frog (bonus points if you know Webflow). Genuine comfort using AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT to speed up research, outline content, and lighten your daily workload. A strong handle on modern search strategy, including search intent, conversion optimization, schema, medical E-E-A-T, physician entity authority, and emerging AEO and GEO frameworks. The ability to turn complex search data into straightforward dashboards and ROI reports that show what’s actually working. A self-starter mindset with the communication skills to team up with Web, Brand, and Data leads. Experience in aesthetics, plastic surgery, healthcare, or multi-location SEO is a big plus, but not a dealbreaker. #J-18808-Ljbffr
