About Charity and Voluntary work in Morocco
The Tafilalet associations are part of non-profit, aid, community, charitable, and fund organizations in Morocco. These kinds of foundations and social institutions are active in different sectors: Culture, art, sport, environment, and volunteering in social work with the same aim: Reviving The Oasis!
Tafilalet Associations
The Tafilalet associations constitute a bridge between the locals who are still living within the Oasis and the Filala population who left to other cities of Morocco or those who migrate to other countries.
They also connect those who left the region with each other. Almost every Ksar has one foundation or more active in social work, volunteering, and aid.
Together with the community cooperatives, these voluntary organizations help to create awareness among the locals, increase their income, and mediate with the administration to encourage investment and solve issues.
To acknowledge the social work they do, we voluntarily list them on our platform. If you have any interest please feel free to contact any of them directly. Otherwise, e-mail us and we will facilitate communication.
