Coverage spans residential transaction platforms and services, home equity and specialty finance, mortgage and lending technology, multifamily and property operations software, single-family rental platforms, short-term rental and hospitality businesses, branded furnished apartments, construction and workflow technology, data and analytics, and other technology-enabled services.The team works directly with founders, c-suite executives, and boards of directors on strategic M&A, equity and debt financings, structured capital solutions, IPOs, follow-on offerings, convertible securities, and other public and private capital markets transactions. This is a unique opportunity to build relationships with investors across the company lifecycle, including venture capital, growth equity, private equity, crossover and hybrid capital providers, private credit and asset-based finance investors, and other alternative investment managers. While our clients are often technology-enabled, our work is grounded in the underlying real estate markets, consumer experiences, operating models, transaction flows, financing needs, and financial-services businesses reshaping how people buy, sell, finance, manage, and experience real estate, with increasing emphasis on AI, automation, and data-driven operating models.Attracting only the very best professionals has been and will continue to be a key element of our success. We are focused on hiring candidates with genuine potential and interest for advancement within our firm.Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of investment banking experience; MBA grads with relevant prior experience will be consideredExperience in fintech, technology, software, or technology-enabled services preferred; specialty finance and/or real estate experience or industry familiarity is a plus but not requiredGenuine interest in the PropTech sector, including real estate technology spanning transaction services and mortgage platforms, home equity and specialty finance, multifamily and property operations, single-family rentals, short-term rental and hospitality, construction and workflow technology, data and analytics, and other technology-enabled real estate businesses; prior experience a plusFamiliarity with AI, automation, data-driven operating models, or other technologies improving real estate and financial services business is a plusProven M&A execution experience (sell-side focus) and capital-raising transactions, managing multiple workstreams simultaneouslyStrong corporate finance, valuation, and modeling skills (operating models, merger models, DCF, comps)Ability to conduct differentiated industry/company research and identify key market trendsExcellent writing and presentation skills for pitch materials, CIMs, and board-level deliverablesStrong client-facing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work directly with founders, C-suite executives, investors, senior bankers and other key stakeholdersDemonstrated project-management ability including driving execution, coordinating junior staff, and managing deadlines with attention to detailCollaborative, self-motivated team player with sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentAs a leading investment bank, we enable growth and success for our clients through deep sector expertise, candid advice and a differentiated, highly productive culture.Our investment banking clients have access to unparalleled guidance through our deep product and sector expertise and ready access to global capital. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience, location and other factors. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation.
